Sky blue leather. Antique ivory inset. A tribute to Miami’s legendary 5th Street Gym, where Angelo Dundee trained generations of fighters, including Muhammad Ali.
The 5th Street Blue carries that heritage into a bag mitt built around the first rule of boxing: make a proper fist.
Every pair is handmade and hand-stitched using fine pebble-grain cowhide—the best leather we can find. Richly textured and supple, with diamond cross-stitching at the wrist, these mitts bring together a luxury feel and a working glove’s purpose. Every detail earns its place.
The flexible, unpadded thumb allows you to close your hand properly, wrapping your thumb around your fingers to form a firm fist. Eight ounces of non-degradable padding provide protection while preserving the feedback that makes bag mitts part of a fighter’s education: feeling where your punches land, learning to connect through the knuckles, and developing proper hand and wrist alignment.
