Forged upon the values of the Noble Art greats of yesteryear, our gloves are engineered to allow boxers the freedom to develop proper punching technique on the punch bag. The fundamentals of boxing: punch with a tightly closed fist using the knuckle part of the glove.
Of course, sparring gloves do not allow you to do this as the thumb is attached with a piece of elastic. They are fine for competition but not for gym work.  For developing proper technique it matters what gloves you use.
